#DaringDecember: Jai Robin Jones

Many of my friends know that I suffer from Fibromyalgia which is a condition that causes chronic muscle pain, fatigue and often depression. I use the word suffer because at times the illness can be debilitating to the point where I am reduced to using a cane. I am a fighter, but at times even I get tired of the battle. I become overwhelmed and need to give in temporarily to what my body is feeling and just rest! However, each day I am blessed to keep moving. I am blessed that I have not given in to this condition. Some days when I feel stronger in my mind, body and spirit are days I want to shout from the top of a roof how good it is just to feel good! People are dealing with so much on a daily basis, it is important to pray for one another and encourage one another. You never know how much a kind word can keep someone in whatever their fight is. #DaringDecember17: Kellie Myles

Hello Scribes, This #DaringDecember17 has been a unique experience. We are being challenged to do things that don't always have an outcome we can visibly see. Kellie Miles has a great passion in getting women to connect with their inner self and align their personal value to God’s perspective. Here is her challenge for us: As part of personal value, it is important that we as women take time to care for ourselves. We focus so much on everyone else and all the responsibilities on our plate but not enough on caring for ourselves. I believe that the value possessed by each of us is beneficial in helping our fellow sisters. I started a women's club which is designed to beautify, enrich, and empower women from the inside out using Biblical principles. I dare you to find a way to build someone else up! At 9:00 every Saturday I sit on my couch with pen and journal in hand. I watch "Fix My Life" to see the power of God made manifest in the lives of the broken hearted. While I watch and pray I try to apply the spiritual principles of forgiveness, understanding and love to my personal development; some things that I have left unsaid you speak life to.
