Hello Scribes. So there is a challenge on Facebook for people to share photos being "Grown and Sexy." It's a great way for people to highlight beautiful photos of themselves. I have seen some great ones and some funny ones too. I got called out and I was caught off guard. I don't show that side of myself often. I'm shy.
I thought about the times I struggled with loving myself and how far I have come. Believe it or not, I have a lot at stake being married to a Pastor and having a child. Everything I do is calculated in order to protect our family name. But I am grown and sexy too. Shoot who says I can't be? When I look in the mirror I'm looking at me and only me not the judges who have something to say.
As I lay it down for the night I challenge all of you to don your best everyday and find your grown and sexy self. Write about it. What makes you grown and sexy?
